Hanzhong Vocational and Technical College was established in 2004. It is a junior college-level general higher vocational college organized by the Hanzhong Municipal People's Government. Its teaching business is managed and guided by the Shaanxi Provincial Department of Education. It is a model higher vocational school in Shaanxi Province. The school passed the talent training work evaluation of the Ministry of Education in 2010 and passed the teaching diagnosis and improvement inspection and review of vocational colleges in Shaanxi Province in 2019.
