Bijie Medical College is located in the Vocational Education City of Bijie City, covering an area of 507 mu, with a current building area of 170,000 square meters (the second phase of the project is under construction with an area of 80,000 square meters). The East Campus is located in the ancient town of Shexiang, Dafang County, covering an area of 120 mu and a building area of 43,000 square meters. The school has more than 90 years of health services and 65 years of school history. The school currently has a total of 399 full-time teachers, 99 of whom have associate senior titles or above; 342 "dual-qualified" teachers, accounting for 85.71% of professional teachers; 130 people have postgraduate degrees or above. There are currently 9,689 students in higher vocational schools, 3,955 group schools, and 1,368 students in adult education. In the course of more than 90 years of health services and 65 years of school operation, the school has always been committed to cultivating health service talents for grassroots medical and health institutions and the people who need it most, and has now trained more than 60,000 health talents. The statue of Dr. Ma Haide, a pioneer of the health cause of New China, who has a deep connection with our school and was awarded the honorary titles of "People Who Touched China Since the Founding of New China" and "The Most Beautiful Struggler", is located on campus. The spirit of Ma Haide is carried forward from generation to generation in the school. The school focuses on local economic and social development, highlights "one old and one young", and builds a talent training pattern for health services throughout the life cycle. There are seven teaching departments and five professional groups (clinical medicine professional group, nursing professional group, pharmacy professional group, medical technology professional group, health promotion professional group), with a total of 23 majors. There are 208 laboratories, 4,285 sets of experimental training equipment and instruments, and the average value of training equipment per student is nearly 10,000 yuan. In recent years, in accordance with the "1+1+N" industry-education integration model, it has widely carried out medical and educational collaboration and industry-education integration with medical institutions and large health industry institutions inside and outside the province. There is currently a directly affiliated hospital and 91 internship and training bases.
