Hebei Arts and Crafts Vocational College is the only public full-time higher art college in Hebei Province that aims to cultivate professional talents in arts and crafts design. It was founded in 1964 and is located in the historical and cultural city of Baoding. In October 2001, with the approval of the Hebei Provincial Department of Education, Hebei Arts and Crafts School and Hebei University jointly established the Hebei University Arts and Crafts College. In February 2013, with the approval of the Hebei Provincial People's Government and the filing of the Ministry of Education, the Hebei University Arts and Crafts College was established as an independent Hebei Arts and Crafts Vocational College. In September 2022, with the approval of the Hebei Provincial Government, the college was transferred from the Provincial State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission to the Provincial Department of Education for management. The campus covers an area of 362 acres, with more than 8,300 students and 340 faculty and staff, including more than 80 associate senior and above professionals. There are 20 majors in landscape design, architectural interior design, computer application technology, visual communication design, digital media art design, product art design, clothing and apparel design, environmental art design, painting and calligraphy (painting), painting and calligraphy (calligraphy), public art design, game art design, display art design, arts and crafts design, advertising art design, animation design, character image design, jewelry design and technology, sculpture design, film and television multimedia technology, and art education.
