Shanxi Tongwen Vocational and Technical College is a higher vocational and technical college established in May 2004 with the approval of the Shanxi Provincial People's Government and formally registered by the Ministry of Education. The college is located in Jiexiu City, the hinterland of Shanxi, the hometown of Shanxi merchants, the hometown of three sages, and the hometown of Qingming Cold Food Festival. The college is adjacent to the ancient city of Pingyao in the east, the bank of Fen River in the west, the Mianshan Scenic Area, Dayun Expressway and Daxi High-speed Railway Line in the south, and National Highway 108 in the north. It has convenient transportation, developed economy and culture, and pleasant climate and environment.
