Ningxia College of Finance and Economics was founded in 1958 and is affiliated to the Education Department of the Autonomous Region. The school covers an area of 577 acres and a construction area of 109,500 square meters. It has built a national-level productive training base and a "dual-qualified" teacher training base, Ningxia Modern Business Vocational Skills Public Training Center and a cross-disciplinary training platform, and is listed as the autonomous region's ideological and political teacher training base, a demonstration continuing education base, and a community education demonstration base. It has 9 multifunctional professional training rooms, 98 smart classrooms, and 40 on-campus training rooms. It has 2,368 on-campus training stations and 26 off-campus internship training bases. The library has a collection of 463,800 books. There are currently 5,584 students, 26 internal institutions (including 11 administrative offices, 4 teaching auxiliary departments, 9 teaching institutions, and 2 mass organizations), and 334 faculty and staff in the school, including 267 full-time teachers, 15 professors, and 62 associate professors; 8 doctors (including those studying), 199 masters; 144 dual-qualified teachers. There are 7 master teacher studios in the autonomous region, 4 master class teacher (counselor) studios in the autonomous region, 14 master teachers in the autonomous region, and 6 high-end accounting talents in the autonomous region. There are 4 training targets for the Ningxia Youth Philosophy, Social Sciences and Cultural and Art Talent Support Project. There are 34 enrollment majors and directions, covering 8 major professional categories such as finance and trade, electronic information, culture and art, tourism, education and sports, civil engineering, public management and services, and agriculture, forming 10 major professional groups including big data and accounting, financial and tax big data application, modern property management, marketing, international economy and trade, e-commerce, financial services and management, computer application technology, smart tourism, and cultural and artistic design. Among them, there are 2 national demonstration majors, 5 national key majors, 1 industry-education integration major of the Talent Exchange Center of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, 4 autonomous region key demonstration majors, and 2 autonomous region high-level professional groups. The school actively promotes the reform of the enrollment system and implements the examination and enrollment system of general college entrance examination enrollment, classified examinations and independent enrollment. The implementation rate of graduates' destinations has remained stable at more than 96%. The school actively responds to the East-West Cooperation Action Plan for Vocational Education, and carries out counterpart assistance and cooperation with Fuzhou Vocational and Technical College in party building and ideological and political education, professional construction, teacher team construction, and skills competitions.
