Sichuan Huaxin Modern Vocational College is a comprehensive applied general college with full-time national unified enrollment approved by the Sichuan Provincial People's Government and filed by the Ministry of Education. With the care and help of the Sichuan Provincial Party Committee Education Working Committee and the Sichuan Provincial Department of Education, and under the direct leadership of the Party Committee of Sichuan Open University, the college adheres to the guidance of Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era, firmly grasps the direction of socialist education, conscientiously implements the party's education policy, and comprehensively strengthens party building and ideological and political work. The college was founded in 2005. With the approval of the Sichuan Provincial People's Government, Sichuan Open University (formerly Sichuan Radio and Television University) took over Huaxin College in 2007. In 2011, the college successfully passed the evaluation of the Ministry of Education's higher vocational and technical talent training work. The college adheres to the organic unity of scale, quality and efficiency, continuously deepens teaching reforms, and improves its school strength and level year by year. After more than ten years of taking over by Open University, the school scale has grown from less than 800 people to a university of 10,000 people. The college has 18 party and government departments and 7 secondary colleges. After years of hard work, the college has distinct characteristics and its strength ranks among the top similar colleges. It has provided a large number of grassroots compound application talents for local economic construction. The college has invested heavily and built on a large scale. The campus environment is beautiful, with complete hardware and software supporting facilities such as teaching buildings, training buildings, libraries, student activity centers, standard sports fields and campus food cities. The college has a strong faculty, with more than 600 full-time and part-time teachers including skilled teachers, including more than 100 professors and associate professors, and more than 200 doctoral and master's degrees. There are also several pilot projects of book and certificate integration, such as Sichuan clothing skills appraisal and evaluation base, e-commerce data analysis, online store operation and promotion, and other 1+X certificate evaluation points.
