Xuancheng Vocational and Technical College was established in 2002. It is a public full-time general college with two campuses: Xuancheng Vocational and Technical College Headquarters and Xuancheng Industrial School. The college is a member unit of the China-Africa (South) Vocational Education Cooperation Alliance, a national "conservation-oriented public institution demonstration unit", a construction unit of Anhui Province's "Double High Plan", "Anhui Province Skilled High-level University", G60 Science and Technology Innovation Corridor High-level Application-oriented Collaborative Innovation Alliance University, Anhui Province School-Enterprise Cooperation Demonstration School, Anhui Provincial Department of Education Course Ideological and Political Construction Pioneer University, Provincial Key Support Construction College, Provincial Talent Work Advanced Unit, and Seven Consecutive Provincial Civilized Units. It covers an area of 2049.01 acres and a building area of 404279.91 square meters. The college has a long history of running schools, a profound cultural heritage, and a beautiful campus environment. There are currently Information and Finance College, Education and Management College, Medical College, Architecture and Gardening College, Automotive College, Photovoltaic College, and Basic Teaching Department, offering 45 majors, 78 off-campus internship and training bases, and 83 on-campus experimental training rooms. There are more than 13,600 full-time students and more than 6,000 TVU adult education students. It has successively carried out school-enterprise cooperation projects with Shanghai Xiaozhuang Group, Cixing Group, Zhongding Group, Anhui Power Source Group, Sino-German Nohao, and German Dental Technology Association China Investment Company. Actively explore the employment market for graduates inside and outside the province, and the employment rate of graduates in 2023 reached 95.03%, entering the first echelon of colleges and universities in Anhui Province.
