Dali Nursing Vocational College is a full-time public general higher vocational college at the medical and health specialist level. Its predecessor was the Yunnan Dali Health School established in 1953. After 70 years of schooling, it has developed into a higher vocational college of medicine and health with advantages in nursing and optometry technology, and features in traditional Chinese medicine rehabilitation technology and health management, and with multidisciplinary cross-integration. The school is located in Dali City, Yunnan Province, at the foot of Cangshan Mountain and the shore of Erhai Lake in the south of colorful clouds. The campus covers an area of 462 acres and has a current building area of 139,000 square meters. It currently offers 12 majors, including nursing, midwifery, acupuncture and massage, rehabilitation therapy technology, traditional Chinese medicine rehabilitation technology, traditional Chinese medicine health care, health management, elderly care and management, optometry technology, visual training and rehabilitation, medical testing technology, and medical imaging technology.
