Kaifeng Vocational College of Culture and Art is a general higher vocational college sponsored by the Kaifeng Municipal People's Government. It was established in 2010. Its predecessor can be traced back to the Zhongzhou Women's School founded in 1908. It has successively integrated the original Kaifeng No. 1 Normal School, Kaifeng No. 2 Normal School, Kaifeng Education College, Kaifeng Workers University, Kaifeng Radio and Television University, Kaifeng Teachers Education School and other high-quality educational resources. For more than a hundred years, the cultural context has continued and the music has not stopped. Since the transformation and establishment of modern vocational education, the quality of school operation has steadily improved. In 2014, it was built into the first batch of vocational education characteristic schools in Henan Province; in 2019, it was built into a high-quality higher vocational college in Henan Province; in 2020, it was identified as a construction unit of the "Higher Vocational and Higher Vocational" project in Henan Province, and started a new journey of high-quality development.
