Jilin Province Economic Management Cadre College is a provincial public college with management as its main discipline and coordinated development of multiple disciplines. It has various qualifications for running schools, such as general higher vocational education, higher education continuing education, and training. It is one of the first batch of colleges and universities in Jilin Province to carry out higher vocational education. It is also a demonstration school for deepening innovation and entrepreneurship education reform in Jilin Province, the first batch of modern apprenticeship pilot schools in Jilin Province, and a school with national defense education characteristics of the Ministry of Education. The college is located in Changchun, a beautiful spring city in the north. For more than 60 years since its establishment, the college has adhered to the motto of "working together, being virtuous and strong", serving regional development as its purpose, and promoting employment as its orientation. It has cultivated a large number of high-quality technical and skilled talents for the society and is known as the "cradle of entrepreneurs". The college currently has three campuses: the college, high-tech, and Qianjin; it has 7 teaching colleges - the School of Economics and Management, the School of Accounting, the School of Civil Engineering, the School of Culture and Tourism, the School of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering, the School of Information and Media, and the School of Food and Drug Engineering; 2 basic teaching colleges (departments) - the School of Marxism and the Department of Public Teaching. The college has a high-quality faculty team that is adapted to the talent training system, has rich teaching and practical experience, combines full-time and part-time teachers, and has a reasonable structure. There are 319 full-time teachers, including 145 professors and associate professors, 175 "dual-qualified" teachers, and 65% of the teachers have doctoral and master's degrees. The college's higher vocational education currently offers 49 majors, including marketing, tourism management, accounting, engineering cost, big data technology and application, urban rail transit operation management, pharmaceutical business and management, and intelligent control technology. In accordance with the school-running goals of social demand orientation and characteristic majors, a high-quality professional system covering national pilot majors, provincial demonstration majors and characteristic majors, and college-level brand majors has been formed.
