Xiamen Performing Arts Vocational College is a full-time general higher vocational college approved by the Fujian Provincial People's Government and registered with the Ministry of Education with the qualification to independently issue academic diplomas. The college started preparations for construction in April 2002 on the beautiful Gulangyu Island in Xiamen, and was officially established in February 2004 (national standard code: 13767). Gulangyu Campus In September 2009, the college moved to No. 7 Chunbo Road, Xiang'an District, Xiamen City as a transitional campus before the new campus was officially put into use.
