Yanhuang Vocational and Technical College is a full-time private general college founded by Mr. Jiang Zhiping, a Taiwanese, educator, and patriotic industrialist from Lianshui, approved by the Jiangsu Provincial People's Government, and officially registered by the Ministry of Education. The organizer is Lianshui Yanhuang Cultural Education Development Co., Ltd. In 1998, it was approved to build the "Private Yanhuang University (Preparatory)", enrolled the first batch of students in 1999, and officially changed its name to Yanhuang Vocational and Technical College in 2004. The college is located at No. 1, Yanhuang Avenue East, Lianshui County, Jiangsu Province. At present, the campus covers an area of 206,000 square meters, the school building area is nearly 120,000 square meters, and the fixed assets are 140.5011 million yuan, of which the teaching equipment is worth 20.3135 million yuan. The library has more than 210,000 books and more than 600 Chinese and foreign periodicals. The college has three-year and five-year junior colleges, and has seven departments: the Department of Construction Engineering, the Department of Mechanical and Electrical Information Engineering, the Department of Economic Management, the Department of Fashion Design, the Department of Automobile Engineering, the Department of Leisure and Tourism, and the Department of Early Childhood Education and Health Care. The school offers 35 majors, including automobile inspection and maintenance, computer application and maintenance, electronic information engineering, construction engineering technology, mechatronics technology, accounting, tourism management, applied English, character image design, and flight attendants, covering five disciplines of science, engineering, economics, management, and liberal arts, and seven major occupational groups and industries, including manufacturing, civil engineering, electronic information, finance, tourism, transportation, and education. The school motto of our college was formulated by the founder, Mr. Jiang Zhiping, as "honesty, perseverance, diligence, and thrift", which embodies Mr. Jiang Zhiping's patriotic love for his hometown of "serving the motherland and giving back to his hometown".
