Kunming Preschool Teachers College was established in February 2018. It is a public full-time general college approved by the Yunnan Provincial People's Government and registered by the Ministry of Education. It is under the jurisdiction of the Kunming Municipal People's Government and its business is guided by the Provincial Department of Education. The school implements the principal responsibility system under the leadership of the Party Committee. The school is located in the Songming Vocational Education Park in Kunming. The campus covers an area of 525 acres and the school building area is 145,000 square meters. The initial investment is 780 million yuan. It has built a comprehensive building, teaching building, training building, academic lecture hall, library, gymnasium, standard sports field, canteen, student dormitory and other high-standard infrastructure. It is equipped with more than ten types of fully functional on-campus experimental training rooms, and the total value of teaching instruments and equipment has reached more than 16 million yuan. The school currently has 364 faculty and staff, including 313 full-time teachers, 139 associate senior and above titles, and 124 master's degree students and above. The school has eight majors: preschool education, early education, human resource management, logistics management, music education, child health and development, financial management and e-commerce. At present, the school has formed a variety of educational forms, including full-time education in ordinary colleges, full-time education in ordinary technical secondary schools, open universities, and adult correspondence courses. There are about 1,500 students currently enrolled.
