Suzhou Industrial Park Service Outsourcing Vocational College was founded in May 2008 and officially established in 2010. It is a public full-time general higher vocational college invested and established by the Suzhou Industrial Park Management Committee. The school is located in Suzhou Dushu Lake Science and Education Innovation Zone, where famous schools and industries gather. The campus covers an area of 424 acres and has a construction area of more than 220,000 square meters. The school has secondary colleges such as the School of Business Management, the School of Information Engineering, the School of Biotechnology, the School of Digital Arts, the School of Artificial Intelligence, and the School of Financial Technology. It has a distinctive "double-teacher" faculty team, mainly composed of engineers from internationally renowned companies, elites who returned from overseas studies, and foreign teachers. More than 96% have doctoral and master's degrees, are familiar with international cutting-edge technologies, and have rich practical experience and scientific research level. There are nearly 600 faculty and staff and about 10,000 students. The school follows the school-running purpose of "running education for the industry". Aiming at the three key business areas of ITO, BPO and KPO, which are the most in-demand for talents in the service outsourcing field in Suzhou, the school has opened nearly 30 majors, including software technology, computer network technology, embedded technology and application, pharmaceutical production technology, microelectronics technology, financial management and practice, accounting and auditing, animation design and production, asset evaluation and management, digital publishing, etc., achieving a high degree of integration between the college's professional chain and the regional industrial chain. The school is committed to building a talent training system that is linked and win-win among the "government, school, industry and enterprise". It has successively become the "Suzhou Service Outsourcing Talent Training Base" and the "Jiangsu International Service Outsourcing Talent Training Base", and was recognized as the only "Suzhou Service Outsourcing Talent Training Center" in 2010. In 2013, the school's software technology training base was approved as a "vocational education training base supported by the central government". The school takes "learning together and being polite to others" as its school motto and follows the school-running philosophy of "following the evolution and meeting the needs of the future". The school successfully passed the talent training work evaluation of higher vocational colleges in Jiangsu Province in 2014; in 2015, it was identified as a provincial-level demonstrative higher vocational college project construction unit by the Jiangsu Provincial Department of Education and the Department of Finance. In 2019, it successfully passed the provincial demonstration acceptance with excellent results, becoming the youngest provincial demonstration college in the province, achieving leapfrog development of the school; in 2022, the school officially became a construction unit of high-level higher vocational colleges with Chinese characteristics in Jiangsu Province. The school will continue to work hard with the goal of "becoming the first service outsourcing school in China that is a provincial demonstration, the only one in the country, and has internationalized school-running capabilities."
