Our School History Fuzhou Software Vocational and Technical College was established in 2005. It is a private higher vocational college approved by the Fujian Provincial People's Government. In 2012, NetDragon Websoft Holdings Limited (Hong Kong Stock Exchange listed company: 777), a leading enterprise in the domestic Internet field, officially took over the school. In 2021, the Virtual Reality Technology Application Professional Group of our college was identified by the Fujian Provincial Department of Education and the Department of Finance as a Class A project for the high-level professional group of the "Fujian High-level Vocational College and Professional Construction Plan". Our model revolves around the two major themes of "digital education" and "global innovation". NetDragon has built an international future education capital - Digital Education Town in Fuzhou Binhai New Area. The town relies on "digital economy + digital education" as a characteristic industry, and forms a characteristic digital education chain and industrial chain collaborative development characteristic park with NetDragon Websoft. The town actively responds to the "Belt and Road" initiative, builds a global digital education content production base, and exports the "Chinese solution" of digital education to the world. Fuzhou Software Vocational and Technical College is located in the core area of the digital education town. It continuously provides a large number of professional application technical talents for the town, and at the same time provides a large number of professional talent training services, resource production services and product services for town enterprises, and outputs successful models and products of deep integration of schools and enterprises. The school insists on relying on the cooperation between industry and colleges to carry out the reform of "three teachings and three integrations". Our current situation The school currently has 16,154 students, 1,071 full-time and part-time teachers, including 802 full-time teachers and 269 part-time teachers. There are 10 productive training bases on campus (including artificial intelligence, software technology, VR/AR, game competition, short video factory, modern communication (5G), data technology, intelligent manufacturing, intelligent construction and digital finance), the total value of teaching instruments and equipment is 83.6881 million yuan, 352 off-campus internship and training bases, and the library has a collection of more than 1.4115 million books. Our advantages 01 Industry College Co-construction Project Game Industry College, Intelligent Industry College, Rongyi Film and Television Industry College and Modern Communication Industry College were selected as pilot projects of provincial-level higher vocational colleges. The school is the first batch of co-construction colleges of the Rongyi Film and Television College project of the Ministry of Education's Sino-Foreign Humanities Exchange Center and the Rongyi Short Video Factory project of the Ministry of Education. 02Digital media technology, a provincial specialty, is a national backbone specialty. The virtual reality technology application specialty group is a provincial service industry specialty group and a provincial high-level specialty group. The software technology specialty is a provincial demonstration specialty for industry-education integration. Software technology, animation production technology, engineering cost, and modern logistics management are provincial modern apprenticeship pilot specialties. 03The virtual reality technology specialty group training base at provincial and above training bases has been selected as a national productive training base, a provincial public training base, a provincial VR technology specialty group training base, a provincial high-level professional industry-education integration training base, and a Fujian college student social practice base. The digital cultural and creative training base is the "school-enterprise collaborative employment, entrepreneurship, and innovation demonstration practice base" of the Small and Medium Enterprise Development Promotion Center of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, and a provincial high-level professional industry-education integration training base; the JD Smart Logistics Virtual Simulation Training Base is a provincial virtual simulation training base project. 04 Teacher Team Construction The Virtual Reality Technology Teacher Training Base is a vocational teacher training base in Fujian Province and a "double-qualified" teacher training base of the Ministry of Education. The school has been recognized as a high-quality provincial vocational teacher training base by the National Training Project Management Office of the Vocational College Teacher Quality Improvement Plan of the Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Finance. There are currently 1 provincial professional leader and 1 provincial outstanding teacher. Teachers participated in the Fujian Vocational College Skills Competition Teaching Ability Competition and won 1 first prize, 3 second prizes, and 8 third prizes. They participated in the municipal teaching skills competition and won 3 second prizes and 2 third prizes. They participated in the industry association national teaching skills competition and won 4 second prizes and 4 third prizes. 05 Course Construction There are 3 provincial-level quality resource sharing courses (innovation and entrepreneurship education and professional education integration), 9 provincial-level continuing education online courses, 2 provincial-level professional resource libraries (game art design, animation design), 5 provincial-level quality online open courses, 9 provincial-level online quality courses, and 2 courses and 2 teaching teams were selected as provincial-level curriculum ideological and political demonstration courses, teaching masters and teams in 2022. The school and enterprises have developed more than 40 textbooks, including "Innovative Design Methodology", "Software Testing Technology", "VR Virtual Reality Technology Model Design and Production" (Basics) (Advanced), "Introduction to Virtual Reality", etc. Among them, the main textbook "VR Virtual Reality Technology Model Design and Production" was rated as the national "13th Five-Year Plan" textbook and the national "14th Five-Year Plan" textbook, and the co-edited textbooks "Construction Engineering Construction Drawing Recognition" and "University Aesthetic Education Foundation" were selected as the national "14th Five-Year Plan" textbooks. 06 Teaching achievements have won 1 first prize and 2 second prizes in Fujian Province's vocational teaching achievements in the past three sessions. The "Technical Requirements for the Application of Mobile Service Robots" participated in the formulation and was successfully approved as the Fujian Provincial Local Standard.
