Songshan Shaolin Wushu Vocational College is a private general college established in 2004 with the approval of the Henan Provincial People's Government and the filing of the Ministry of Education. It was founded by Mr. Liu Baoshan, a ninth-dan of Chinese Wushu and an outstanding inheritor of Chinese folk culture. The college is a general college with outstanding characteristics of domestic Wushu culture. The demonstration project "Shaolin Wushu Overseas Teaching Service Standardization" applied by the college has been approved by the Henan Provincial Market Supervision Administration. The National Social Science Fund Project "Research on the Construction of Chinese Wushu Translation Discourse" jointly applied by the college and the School of Foreign Languages of Henan University of Technology was approved.
