Harbin Northern Aviation Vocational and Technical College is located in Acheng District, Harbin, the birthplace of Jinyuan culture and the ancient capital of Jinyuan, on the banks of the beautiful Ash River. The school was founded in 1985 and was formerly known as Heilongjiang Vocational and Technical College. In 2018, it was approved by the Heilongjiang Provincial Government and registered by the Ministry of Education to become a full-time general higher vocational college. The school has three secondary vocational schools, namely Harbin Aviation Service Secondary Vocational School, Harbin No. 26 Vocational Senior High School, and Harbin Northern Technical School, with a long history of running schools and a solid foundation. Basic situation The school covers an area of 465 acres, with a construction area of 150,000 square meters. The library has 95,000 paper books, more than 200,000 electronic books, and teaching equipment worth more than 23 million yuan. The school is located at the former site of the Acheng Relay Factory. As one of the important representatives of the old industrial base in Northeast China, the school organically combines the construction plan with the original architectural appearance of the original Acheng Relay Factory with a history of more than 70 years, and retains the original buildings and "traces" of the factory to the maximum extent. The campus environment construction integrates Jinyuan culture, the red gene of the industrial development of New China and modern elements. In 2021, the school was rated as a "civilized campus" in the college system of Heilongjiang Province by the Education Department of Heilongjiang Province. The school seizes the historical opportunity of the national vocational education reform, fully implements the training of secondary and higher vocational education, and builds a "vocational education overpass" on campus with the affiliated secondary technical school Harbin Aviation Service Secondary Vocational School, forming a vocational education talent training system that integrates secondary and higher vocational education and general vocational education, and constructs a curriculum system that connects professional job requirements and professional qualification standards, and creates a teaching model of "work-study alternation, task-driven, project-oriented, and on-the-job internship". It has jointly opened order classes with Sichuan Airlines, Shenzhen Metro and many other companies, and the employment rate of graduates remains above 90%. Over the years, the school has carried out extensive international exchanges and cooperation with developed countries in vocational education such as the United States, Germany, Austria, the Netherlands, Spain, Japan, Singapore, and South Korea, especially with Korean Asiana Airlines, and has established in-depth school-enterprise cooperation. In 2018 and 2019, two batches of 63 outstanding teachers were sent to Asiana Airlines to complete international flight attendant training. At present, all teachers of flight attendant majors have obtained Asiana Airlines training certificates. The school is based in Longjiang, facing the industry, and radiating across the country.
