Guangxi Logistics Vocational and Technical College was established in April 2020 with the approval of the People's Government of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region. It is a public full-time higher vocational college in Guangxi that trains logistics-related talents. It is held by the People's Government of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, invested, constructed and managed by Guangxi Modern Logistics Group Co., Ltd., and guided by the Guangxi Education Department. The school fully implements the party's education policy, firmly adheres to the socialist direction of running schools, implements the fundamental task of cultivating people with morality, adheres to the school motto of "cultivating people with virtue, strengthening skills and establishing a career", and firmly adheres to the school-running goal of "laying the foundation and expanding the quantity, improving the quality and cultivating excellence, adding value and empowering, and becoming a higher vocational school for the construction of Guangxi double highs". The school is located in Xijiang Education Park, Guigang City. The campus has beautiful scenery and a strong cultural atmosphere. It covers an area of about 918 acres and has completed a construction area of 220,400 square meters. It has a fully functional teaching and administrative area, student apartment area, teacher apartment area, sports area and leisure place Sailing Square. The school has been approved to build three Guangxi higher vocational demonstration specialty majors and training bases, including modern logistics management, e-commerce, and automobile manufacturing and testing technology. Focusing on the logistics industry and the economic and social development needs of Guigang City, the school has set up high-level professional groups such as logistics, environmental protection, electromechanical, finance, and commerce. It has 7 secondary colleges, including the School of Logistics Management, the School of Logistics and Transportation, the School of Logistics Business, the School of Logistics Finance, the School of Ecological and Environmental Protection, the School of Marxism, and the School of Humanities and Education. It has opened 20 majors and directions, including modern logistics management, environmental engineering technology, automobile manufacturing and testing technology, e-commerce, marketing, big data and accounting. There are currently 9,647 students. There are currently 225 faculty members, including more than 50 teachers with postgraduate degrees or above, more than 60 teachers with intermediate and senior professional titles, and more than 140 professors, experts, and high-end corporate talents in industries and professional fields inside and outside the region have been hired as visiting professors and subject guidance experts to provide strong support for the development of the school. The school continuously innovates the diversified cooperative education system and mechanism, deepens school-enterprise cooperation and integration of production and education, and relies on the large state-owned enterprise Guangxi Modern Logistics Group in the autonomous region as the industry background to build off-campus training bases with more than 100 well-known enterprises in and outside the region, such as Guangxi Environmental Protection Industry Investment Group and SAIC-GM-Wuling Automobile Co., Ltd. It took the lead in establishing the Guangxi Supply Chain Vocational Education Group, unveiled the establishment of the Autonomous Region State-owned Assets and State-owned Enterprises Rural Revitalization Research and Study Center, and actively improved the ability and level of serving regional development.
