Heilongjiang Sanjiang Vocational College of Fine Arts was founded in 1980. With the spring breeze of reform and opening up, it has gone through 43 years of school operation. October 2 this year marks the 44th anniversary of its founding. Along the way, it has weathered the storms, grown from small to large, from weak to strong, and has provided the country and society with more than 33,000 art, calligraphy, photography, sculpture, architectural decoration, fashion design, IT design, creative design, and film and television animation art design workers. It has received extensive attention and praise from all walks of life, and has won many honors, becoming the only general art college in Heilongjiang Province included in the national enrollment plan. As the earliest private college in China, Heilongjiang Sanjiang Vocational College of Fine Arts has found its own development positioning, continued to innovate, formed its own characteristics, and specialized in its profession. Attaching importance to the construction of teaching staff and majors, hundreds of professional teachers have carried out teaching practice research around the five professional groups of "art education, digital media, architectural decoration, film and television animation, and IT information", a total of 15 advantageous majors; keeping up with the pace of the times, carrying out curriculum innovation, establishing 18 elective project studios, and actively exploring new models of talent training; closely following social needs, innovating service methods, establishing six physical platforms, improving the competitiveness of incubated talents, and promoting the transformation of results; sorting out international education cooperation projects, comprehensively judging from several major aspects such as safety, economy, and gold content, focusing on selecting several national universities suitable for higher vocational students to carry out in-depth cooperation, jointly opening "International Undergraduate", "International Bachelor's Degree and Master's Degree", "Master's and Doctoral Degree" and other international higher education projects, teachers and students of both sides exchange visits, academic and scientific research results, combined with my country's international development ideas and policies of the Belt and Road Initiative, jointly established China-Russia, China-South Korea and China-ASEAN Belt and Road International Research Centers, etc., to inject vitality into the college's creation of international school-running characteristics. Heilongjiang Sanjiang Vocational College of Fine Arts is located in Jiamusi City, Heilongjiang Province. The college established a teaching practice base in the capital Beijing in 2004 and a teaching practice base in the provincial capital Harbin in 2006. According to the college's "Fourteenth Five-Year Plan" development plan, in 2024, based on the Harbin teaching practice base, it will formally apply to establish the Sanjiang Academy of Fine Arts Harbin Campus with international characteristics. In the 18 years since the establishment of the Harbin Teaching Practice Base, there have been "four departments, one office and two divisions", namely: the Department of Art Education, the Department of Digital Media, the Department of Environmental Art Engineering, the Department of Film and Television Animation, the Fashion Master Studio, the International Department of Junior College to Master's Degree and the International Department of Junior College to Undergraduate Degree; there are "18 project studios", namely: Aesthetic Education and Design Training Camp, Seal Carving Studio, Paper Cutting Art Studio, 3D Printing Studio, Cloisonné Enamel Studio, Photography and Video Studio, Mural Studio, New Media Studio, Chinese Painting Studio, Oil Painting Studio, Calligraphy Studio, Watercolor Studio, Virtual Reality Studio, Artificial Intelligence Studio, Digital Technology Studio and Korean, Russian, English and other foreign language studios; there have been "six physical platforms", namely: Longmei Design (Heilongjiang Quanke Creative Design Co., Ltd.), Longmei International (for those who have ideals, goals, pursuits, beliefs, and are determined to succeed, providing a green channel for international study abroad at the undergraduate, master and doctoral levels to realize the dream of high ability, high education and high degree), Longmei Information (for the new media industry Cultivate excellent anchors, planners, editors, designers, operators, data analysts, video producers and community operators), Longmei Academy (carry out art education for middle-aged and elderly people, help them learn and contribute), Longmei Children's Garden (carry out aesthetic education for young children, cultivate interest, encourage personality, develop intelligence, and cultivate creative thinking), Longmei Art Academy ("Longmei Art Station" chain company). The establishment of the Beijing teaching practice base aims to share the capital's advantageous resources and cultivate excellent art design talents; it is an important window for the college to carry out "school-enterprise cooperation, inter-school cooperation, school-government cooperation, school-bank cooperation, and school-society cooperation". Since its establishment in May 2004, it has a team of young, powerful, full-time and professional dual-qualified teachers; relying on Beijing's rich resources, it cooperates with many universities such as the Central Academy of Fine Arts, the Academy of Fine Arts of Tsinghua University, and Capital Normal University, and specially employs dozens of experts and professors; cooperates with many design institutes and well-known companies, and employs nearly 100 artists and designers as part-time professors or internship instructors. The school focuses on six majors, including art design, visual communication design, digital media art design, environmental art design, architectural interior design, and architectural decoration engineering technology. It focuses on the cultivation of creativity, emotion, aesthetics, and interpersonal communication skills, and integrates AI technology virtual reality (VR) and augmented reality (AR) technology into the curriculum, so that students can understand and master more practical tools and design experiences, and help explore new design fields and styles. It has trained 17 graduates and 5 overseas students, and is deeply loved by students and parents, and has won praise from employers and international partners. All students who apply for Heilongjiang Sanjiang Fine Arts Vocational College and are admitted can voluntarily choose to study at the Beijing Teaching Practice Base. The 20-year inter-school cooperation practice of the Beijing Teaching Practice Base in Beijing is a successful case of deepening the reform of vocational art design education in my country. It is a beneficial exploration of modern higher vocational education around the combination of work and study, integrating international teaching models, promoting inter-school cooperation, complementary advantages, and characteristic schooling. For decades, Sanjiang Academy of Fine Arts has never forgotten its original intention, kept in mind its mission of cultivating practical art talents, adhered to the school-running philosophy of enabling students to master innovative skills and realize entrepreneurial returns, insisted on the school spirit of hard work, exploration, truth-seeking and innovation, remembered the school motto of emphasizing practice, emphasizing efficiency, pursuing quality and climbing to the top, and firmly believed in quality first and winning by level. It has made every effort to build a higher vocational college of fine arts with international characteristics.
