Zhuhai College of Higher Education in Hong Kong is a private institution of higher learning with a long history in Hong Kong, with more than 70 years of experience in running schools. The college is located on the shore of Qingshan Bay in Tuen Mun, Hong Kong, close to the Hong Kong Port and Shenzhen Bay Port of the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge. It has a quiet environment, beautiful scenery and convenient transportation. Long history: The school was founded in Guangzhou in 1947 and named Zhuhai University, with the purpose of building society and cultivating talents. It was named Zhuhai, hoping that students could be as bright as "pearl" and as vast as "sea". In 1949, the school moved to Hong Kong and was registered in accordance with the Hong Kong Education Ordinance at that time. It was renamed Zhuhai College. Adhering to the consistent school-running philosophy, it provides high school graduates with a four-year post-secondary course to cultivate talented and moral pillars of society. In 2004, it was successfully registered as a college recognized by the Post-Secondary Colleges Ordinance, Chapter 320 of the Laws of Hong Kong, and was renamed "Zhuhai College". At the end of 2022, it was approved by the Hong Kong Education Bureau and renamed "Zhuhai College of Higher Education in Hong Kong". Vision: Hong Kong Zhuhai College adheres to the school-running philosophy of "quality education, international reputation, advanced and practical, and serving the society" to create a "small but fine" liberal arts college. Faculty: The school has a high-level international faculty team. The teachers hired are all graduates from famous universities in Hong Kong, the Mainland, Taiwan, the United Kingdom, the United States, Germany and Canada, and have rich teaching and scientific research experience. Internationally renowned scholars of literature, history and sinology, chair professor Chan Chi-President Silver Bauhinia Star, Justice of the Peace, chair professor Professor Lung Bing-yee, a top economist in the world's top 500, Professor Zhang Junxi, senior member of IEEE, honorary professor of the University of Hong Kong, Professor Lo Wei-lin, honorary economist of Ukraine, Prof. Oleksandr Rogach, Telford Premium winner of the British Institution of Engineers, Professor Lin Zhixiong, former deputy director of Phoenix Satellite TV Chinese Channel, Professor Guan Wei, former vice president of Hong Kong Cable TV, Professor Huang Jundong, courses provided: The school provides students with high-quality degree courses, generous scholarship programs and good accommodation environment; small classes are used, students' internships are emphasized, and overseas exchange channels are abundant. There are currently a School of Arts and Social Sciences, a School of Science and Technology, and a School of Business, offering 12 undergraduate courses and 16 postgraduate courses. The undergraduate degree courses offered by our school have a four-year study period; except for the Chinese Literature major, which is taught in Chinese, the remaining 11 majors are taught in English.
