The school has always adhered to the school-running philosophy of "governing the school by system, strengthening the school by culture, developing the school by characteristics, and establishing the school by employment", and has made every effort to create a higher vocational college that is "recognized by the government, satisfied by the society, loved by enterprises, liked by students, reassured by parents, distinctive and influential". Focusing on local characteristics, we will strengthen school-enterprise cooperation, integrate production and education, and jointly educate people with "double subjects" to create a new situation of win-win cooperation in the integration and development of schools, enterprises and local areas. In 2021, the school and Wuyixing Tea Co., Ltd., one of the top ten leading companies in China's tea industry, jointly established the Wuyixing Tea Industry College, and passed the third batch of pilot projects for industrial colleges of higher vocational colleges of the Fujian Provincial Department of Education. Implement the new strategy of "one body and two wings", focus on the development of academic qualifications and skills training, and cultivate high-quality technical and skilled talents with solid foundation, proficiency in practice and courage to innovate for the local area. The school innovates the "sandwich" talent training model of "teaching, learning, and doing", implements the talent training goal of "three certificates" (degree certificate, skill certificate, and moral certificate) + "three actions" (thinking, speaking, and doing), and promotes the high-quality training of technical and skilled talents through the implementation of "using competition to promote learning, using competition to promote teaching, using competition to promote evaluation, and using competition to promote reform". Innovate the extracurricular education model and create special extracurricular education with "camp". Use "gratitude and benefit" to create a civilized campus and won the title of "Civilized Campus" in Nanping City. In recent years, the school has actively carried out exchanges and cooperation in higher vocational education between Fujian and Taiwan. It has been identified as the first batch of pilot schools for exchanges and cooperation in higher vocational education between Fujian and Taiwan by the Fujian Provincial Department of Education, and as a training base for the Fujian Provincial Taiwan Compatriots Association by the Fujian Provincial Taiwan Federation. In 2021, it was awarded the second batch of Fujian Provincial CPPCC Hong Kong, Macao, Taiwan and Overseas Chinese Exchange Base by the Fujian Provincial CPPCC. The school has carried out exchange activities between Fujian and Taiwan, such as workshops, summer camps, and internships for young Taiwanese talents. Since its establishment, the school has received nearly 2,000 Taiwanese people from all walks of life.
