Guilin Vocational College of Life and Health Technology is a full-time general medical and health higher vocational and technical college approved by the People's Government of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region and approved by the Ministry of Education of China. It has the ability to independently issue nationally recognized academic qualifications. The guiding ideology of the school is that the college adheres to the leadership of the Party, fully implements the Party's education policy, adheres to the socialist direction of running schools, adheres to moral education, cultivates and practices socialist core values, and runs schools in accordance with the law. The school covers a total area of about 570 acres and is located in Guilin, Guangxi, a beautiful international tourist city. It is also based on the Greater China Health Valley, which is one of the 13 major health tourism demonstration bases in China and a national traditional Chinese medicine health tourism demonstration base. It has built projects such as Chonghua Chinese Medicine Street, Chonghua Chinese Medicine Hospital, and Chinese Medicine Health Town. The school currently offers 12 majors, including nursing, pharmacy, Chinese medicine, drug management and management, Chinese medicine rehabilitation technology, Chinese medicine health care, rehabilitation therapy technology, medical cosmetology technology, health management, medical nutrition, infant care services and management, and modern housekeeping services and management. The school president is Professor Huang Cenhan, former vice president of Guangxi College of Traditional Chinese Medicine, president of Youjiang Medical College for Nationalities, secretary of the Party Committee of Youjiang Medical College for Nationalities, and secretary of the Party Leadership Group of Guangxi Academy of Sciences. Among the full-time and part-time teaching team, there are 10 doctors, 54 postgraduates, professors, associate professors, directors, deputy chief physicians, and 70 full-time teachers with professional and technical titles. Among them, Academician Wang Qi led a team to preside over the teaching of the College of Chinese Medicine Constitution and Prevention of Diseases, and Master Wei Guikang led a team to preside over the teaching of the Qihuang Chinese Medicine Orthopedic Rehabilitation College, as the inheritors of their academic thoughts and medical technologies. Students will have the honor to learn Chinese medicine knowledge under the guidance of academicians and masters. Guilin Vocational and Technical College of Life and Health was established in response to General Secretary Xi Jinping's deployment of "implementing the Healthy China Strategy".
