Our school: It is a public full-time general college approved by the Zhejiang Provincial People's Government in March 2015 and registered by the Ministry of Education. It is also the first higher vocational college named after a national-level new district and named after tourism and health in China. The school was established in January 2014 on the basis of the relevant majors and teachers of Zhejiang Ocean University and Zhejiang International Maritime Vocational and Technical College, and has a history of more than 20 years of higher vocational education. In March 2017, Zhoushan Radio and Television University transferred to the school. In October 2018, Zhoushan Aviation Training Center (Boeing cooperative institution) started training. In December 2020, the provincial "double high" professional group construction project was approved for construction. Our school: has a School of Tourism, a School of Health, a School of Business, a Department of Humanities, Social Sciences and Sports, and a School of Continuing Education. It offers higher vocational majors such as hotel management and digital operations, tour guides, nursing, health management, health management (Sino-foreign cooperation), e-commerce, cross-border e-commerce, big data and accounting, and big data technology. Among them, the health tourism professional group with the tour guide major as the core is a high-level professional group construction project in Zhejiang Province, the health tourism training base is a provincial-level demonstration continuing education (social training) base, and the nursing major has been approved as the first batch of "1+X Certificate System Pilot Colleges for Care of Dementia Elderly People" by the Ministry of Education of China. Our school: has built an overseas training base for Boeing Company in the United States, is the chairman unit of the Marine Tourism (Cruise and Yacht) Branch of Zhejiang Tourism Association, the chairman unit of Zhejiang Tourism Health Vocational Education Group, and the research and practice education camp for primary and secondary school students in Zhoushan City. The Health and Medical Service Talent Training Center was named "Zhoushan High-skilled Talent Public Training Base" by Zhoushan City, and has built Zhoushan "Red Cross Elderly Care Service Training Base"; and has built Zhoushan Big Health Industry Innovation Center with Shanghai Digital Silk Industry Innovation Center, and cooperated with Zhoushan Women's Federation and Municipal Bureau of Culture, Broadcasting, Tourism and Sports to establish the "Women's Entrepreneurship College". We have signed cooperation agreements with more than 20 foreign universities such as Vincennes University in the United States, Northumbria University in the United Kingdom, Chonnam University of Science and Technology in South Korea, Singapore Science and Technology College, Taiwan University of Hospitality and Tourism, and Taipei University of Nursing and Health, and have established a "Teacher Overseas Training Center" in cooperation with Thailand's Chulalongkorn University.
