Ganzi Vocational College was established with the approval of the Sichuan Provincial People's Government and filed with the Ministry of Education. It is the first full-time public general higher vocational college in Ganzi Prefecture, filling the gap of the only higher vocational college in the province's 21 cities and prefectures. The college was completed and enrolled in 2021. The college is located in Yanzigou Town, Luding County, Ganzi Prefecture. It is planned to cover an area of 600 acres, with a total planned area of 233,500 square meters, a budget investment of 1.26 billion yuan, and a school scale of 6,000 people. The college is built in phases. The first phase of the project is nearly 110,000 square meters, with a teaching area of 68,000 square meters and a training area of 39,000 square meters. From the start of construction to delivery and use, from school preparation to enrollment and opening, the college has created the "Ganzi miracle" of building a university in one year and preparing for a university in half a year, showing the "Ganzi speed" of the new era. The college will adhere to the socialist direction of running schools, implement the party's education policy, forge a strong sense of community of the Chinese nation, not forget the original intention of establishing morality and cultivating people, and earnestly undertake the mission of educating people for the party and cultivating talents for the country. Based in Ganzi, facing the surrounding areas, and radiating within and outside the province, it mainly provides full-time college education, actively carries out various forms of vocational skills training, and cultivates skilled, practical, and high-quality skilled talents who can adapt to the regional economic and social development.
