In May 2019, it was approved by the People's Government of Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region and filed with the Ministry of Education of China. In September 2019, it began to recruit national unified higher vocational students. The college is located in Xishan University Town, Saybag District, Urumqi, the capital of Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region.
