Baoji Zhongbei Vocational College is a full-time college approved by the Shaanxi Provincial Government, registered by the Ministry of Education, held by Shaanxi Zhongbei Railway Education Group, and included in the national unified enrollment plan. The college was formerly Shaanxi Zhongbei Specialized College, which was established in 1997. It currently has about 300 faculty and staff, 61 people with professional and technical titles above associate senior, 53 people with postgraduate degrees or above, 29 dual-qualified teachers, and 4 experts enjoying special allowances from the State Council. There are more than 6,000 students in the colleges under the Shaanxi Zhongbei Railway Education Group. The college has a total asset value of 600 million yuan and covers an area of nearly 300 acres. The college was the first in the same industry in the province to realize office automation, and the first in the same industry in the city to pass the ISO9001 international quality management system certification. The good social reputation of the college has won the honors of "National Advanced Vocational Education Unit", "Provincial Credit Vocational Education College" and provincial and municipal advanced vocational education units, and has been identified as a "Sino-US Cultural Exchange Base". With the consent of the former Ministry of Railways and the approval of Xi'an Railway Bureau, Zhongbei was designated as the "National Vocational Skills Appraisal Base and Practice Site for the Railway Industry". It was designated as the "High-speed Railway Passenger Service Talent Training Base" and awarded by the Baoji Municipal Party Committee, Municipal Government, Municipal Education Bureau, and Municipal Human Resources and Social Security Bureau. More than 2,000 students, including flight attendants Jia Xiuling and Han Chaoyi, are employed in international airports and airlines such as Capital, Baiyun, Hongqiao, Hangzhou Xiaoshan, Fuzhou Changle, and Xi'an Xianyang.
