Qujing Normal University is a public undergraduate university in Yunnan Province. It is located in Qujing City, the sub-central city of Yunnan, which is known as the "Kingdom of Ancient Fish" and "Hometown of Cuan Culture" at the source of the Pearl River. After a century of normal education, the school has won the beautiful praise of "cradle of gardeners and fragrance of peaches and plums". The school has a profound accumulation of education. The history of running schools can be traced back to the Qujing Prefecture Normal School in 1907 and the Yunnan Provincial Third Normal School established in 1912. With the approval of the Ministry of Education of the People's Republic of China, Qujing Normal College, Qujing Education College and Qujing Normal School were merged in March 2000 to form Qujing Normal University. The school has been singing for a hundred years. It has trained 140,000 qualified teachers and other applied talents full-time, and trained more than 150,000 teachers after employment. The "Olive Pattern Qushi Fish" has become the only ancient fish fossil named after a university in the country.
