Hebei Water Resources and Electric Power College is located in Cangzhou City. It is a full-time general undergraduate college directly under the Hebei Provincial Department of Education and co-built with the Cangzhou Municipal People's Government. It is the second batch of pilot units for the transformation of applied technology colleges in Hebei Province. The school was formerly the Hebei Water Conservancy and Civil Engineering School founded in 1952. In March 2016, it was upgraded to a full-time general undergraduate college with the approval of the Ministry of Education. School conditions: The two campuses of the headquarters and the high-tech zone cover an area of 386,500 square meters, with a building area of 220,900 square meters. The total value of teaching and scientific research equipment is 112.2353 million yuan, with 1.0391 million paper documents and 145,700 electronic books. There are 1 Hebei Provincial Key Laboratory, 2 Hebei Provincial Technology Innovation Centers, 1 Hebei Provincial College Application Technology R&D Center, and 7 Cangzhou City Technology Innovation Centers. There are 84 on-campus experimental training rooms and 217 off-campus practical teaching bases. School scale: There are 10,806 full-time students, including 10,755 undergraduates, accounting for 99.53% of the total number of students. There are 12 teaching units including the Department of Water Conservancy Engineering, the Department of Civil Engineering, and the School of Marxism. Faculty: There are more than 780 faculty members, including more than 500 full-time teachers, more than 30% of teachers with senior professional titles, more than 90% of teachers with doctoral and master's degrees, and more than 40% of "dual-qualified and dual-capable" teachers.
