Cangzhou Normal University is located in Cangzhou City, on the coast of the Bohai Sea and the canal in eastern Hebei Province. The school was founded in 1958. In 1962, the school was renamed Cangzhou Normal School. In 1984, it was upgraded to Cangzhou Normal College. In 1991, it merged with Cangzhou Regional Education College. In 2001, it merged with Cangzhou Normal School, Cangzhou Agricultural Mechanical Engineering School, and Cangzhou Teacher Training School to form a new school. Cangzhou Normal College.
