Chongqing Yitong College (formerly Chongqing University of Posts and Telecommunications Yitong College) was established in 2000. It is a full-time general undergraduate college approved by the Ministry of Education of China and supervised by the Chongqing Municipal Education Commission. It recruits students nationwide. The school has two campuses, Hechuan and Qijiang. The Hechuan campus is located in the University Town of Hechuan District, an important strategic fulcrum city in the main urban new district of Chongqing. The campus is surrounded by mountains and rivers, with a beautiful environment and convenient transportation. It is a 40-minute drive from the center of Chongqing and a 5-minute drive from the central commercial street of Hechuan and Jinyuecheng Commercial. The Qijiang campus is located in the eastern new city of Qijiang District, the information security valley in the west of the main urban new district of Chongqing. It is surrounded by the majestic Gujian Mountain and the beautiful Qi River. The Hengshan Peak is integrated with the campus. It is the most distinctive landscape garden-style college university in China. It is a 40-minute drive from the center of Chongqing, 15 minutes from Qijiang East Station, and only 5 minutes from Qijiang Passenger Transport Center. The number of students on campus is nearly 39,000. There are 13 secondary colleges, including the School of Communication and Information Engineering, the School of Intelligent Engineering, the School of Big Data, the School of Computer Science, the German Engineering School, the School of Information Security, and the Vision School.
