Introduction

Atlantic Technological University is a multi-campus university of technology in the west and northwest of Ireland. It was formed by the merger of Galway-Maynooth Institute of Technology, Sligo Institute of Technology and Letterkenny Institute of Technology. Key laboratories: The Sligo campus has a material testing and analysis laboratory. The laboratory was established in 2001 and consists of a material forming laboratory, a material science laboratory and a basic material science and engineering laboratory.
