Daido University is a private university located in Nagoya, Aichi Prefecture, Japan. It was founded on April 1, 1964. The predecessor of the school was the Daido Industrial Education Foundation, which was funded by Daido Steel Co., Ltd. (now Daido Special Steel Co., Ltd.) in 1939, and the Daido Industrial School established by the foundation. After several school system reforms and expansions, Daido University was officially established in 1964.
