Hitotsubashi University (Japanese: 一橋大學, abbreviated as: 一橋/ひとばし) is a national research university located in Kunitachi, Tokyo, Japan. It was founded in 1875. In 1920, the school was changed to the old Tokyo University of Commerce and became the first business university in Japan.
