Videme University of Applied Sciences is located in Valmiera, the capital of Vidzeme Region in northeastern Latvia. It is a higher education institution that provides undergraduate and postgraduate education. History and Establishment

The school was founded in 1996 as a regional university. It was upgraded to a national university in 2001. In 2004, it began to launch two master's degree programs.
