Introduction
Bukovinian State Medical University is one of the largest higher education institutions in Chernivtsi, Ukraine. It is a fully public multi-structured higher education institution that provides educational programs at different levels. It is listed in the World Health Organization's General List and has also joined the Magna Carta University Alliance, the European University Association, the Carpathian Regional University Association, etc.

History and establishment time
The school was founded in 1944. Its predecessor was the Second Kiev State Medical Institute, which was established on March 1, 1931. In 1941, the institute was evacuated to Chelyabinsk and on October 20, 1944, it was evacuated to Chelyabinsk. On the 15th, the Ukrainian government issued Resolution No. 1360, restoring the medical department of the Second Kyiv Medical Institute in Chernivtsi, which then gradually developed and evolved.
