Introduction
Ivan Franko National University of Lviv is a historic higher education institution in Ukraine and one of the oldest universities in Europe. It is a national center for the cultivation and teaching of scientific, engineering and educational talents in Ukraine and is recognized as a center in many scientific research and teaching fields.

Key laboratories: All faculty and staff of the university are engaged in scientific research and teaching in 67 scientific research laboratories.
