Introduction
Kyiv National University of Construction and Architecture, referred to as KNUCA, is a prestigious institution of higher learning in Kyiv, the capital of Ukraine. It is world-renowned for its architectural design and construction engineering majors. It occupies a pivotal position in the field of architectural education in Ukraine and has trained a large number of outstanding professionals in architecture, engineering, etc. for Ukraine and the world.

History and establishment time
The school was founded in 1930. Its predecessor was the Kyiv Civil Engineering College, which was formed by the merger of the Factory and Public Construction Department of the Kyiv Polytechnic Institute and the Architecture Department of the Kyiv Academy of Arts. In the Soviet period after World War II, the school became the second largest construction engineering college in the Soviet Union. On August 13, 1993, according to the decree of the Ukrainian Cabinet of Ministers, the Kyiv National University of Architecture and Technology was established on the basis of the Kyiv Civil Engineering College. On February 28, 1999, according to the Decree of the President of Ukraine (217/99), the school was granted the status of a national university and officially changed its name to Kyiv National University of Architecture and Civil Engineering.

Faculty: The school has more than 700 teachers with senior professional titles, including 111 with doctoral degrees and professorial titles, and more than 350 associate doctors and associate professors.
