Introduction

History

In 1966, according to the decision of the former Soviet Ministry of Higher and Secondary Specialized Education, the General Technology Department of the Kyiv Automobile and Highway Institute established a branch in Volynsky.

In 1971, the department was affiliated to the Ukrainian Institute of Water Transport Engineering, and then, according to the decision of the Council of Ministers, it was affiliated to the Lviv Polytechnic Institute. Four years later, it was reorganized into the Lutsk Branch of the Lviv Polytechnic Institute and the Novovorynsk Town Branch.

On April 1, 1991 On December 24, 1997, the Lutsk Institute of Technology was established on the basis of the Lutsk branch of the Lviv Polytechnic Institute.

On December 24, 1997, according to the decision of the Council of Ministers, the Lutsk State Technical University was officially established.

On April 11, 2008, according to the Decree of the President of Ukraine No. 335/2008, the Lutsk State Technical University obtained the status of a national university.
