Introduction

Odessa National Music Academy A. V. Nezhdanova is one of the oldest music colleges in Ukraine and a member of the European Association of Music Colleges. It is the center of professional music education and art in southern Ukraine and has trained many outstanding musicians, composers and other professionals.

Student size: Currently, there are 200 international students and more than 100 advanced students from more than 50 countries studying here.

History

The history of the college can be traced back to the Odessa Music School established in 1897. In 1913, on its basis, V.A. Nezhdanova, chairman of the Odessa branch of the Russian Imperial Music Association, founded the Odessa Music School. Orlov and others donated to establish the Odessa Conservatory, which was the fourth higher education music conservatory in the Russian Empire after St. Petersburg, Moscow and Saratov. In 1999, it joined the European Association of Music Schools and Conservatories, and in 2000 it was included in the list of higher education institutions in Ukraine and Germany - members of the intergovernmental cooperation agreement.
