Introduction to Uganda Martyrs University:
Introduction: Uganda Martyrs University is a private university associated with the Roman Catholic Church in Uganda, owned by the Uganda Catholic Bishops' Conference, and licensed by the Uganda National Higher Education Commission.
Overview
Student size: As of March 2022, the total number of students is 4,632, of which about 1,500 students live on campus and nearly 3,000 students participate in distance learning programs.
Campus distribution: There are 7 campuses, namely the main campus Nkozi, Masaka campus, Lubaga campus, Nsamba campus, Kabale campus, Moyo campus, and Mbale campus.
History: Founded in October 1993, it initially had 84 students and two academic departments, the School of Ethics and Development Studies and the School of Business Administration. At the 24th graduation ceremony on November 8, 2018, there were 2,040 graduates, and the opening of a new School of Engineering was announced at the Fort Portal campus in western Uganda.

Social Recognition: It is one of the earliest private universities in Uganda and is considered one of the best universities in East Africa. Its graduates are favored by employers in various fields such as education, business, and health.
