Introduction: Somaliland University of Technology is a private institution of higher learning in Somaliland. With technical education as its core, it has trained many technical professionals for the local and surrounding areas.
History and establishment time: The school was established in 2000. It was originally a small non-profit educational institution called Hargeisa College of Applied Arts & Technology. It is a certification center of City & Guilds and Edexcel. In 2007, it obtained university status and was renamed Somaliland University of Technology.

International Exchange: It has cooperation agreements with the University of Khartoum and Ahmed University for Women in Sudan, and has signed cooperation agreements with three African universities to cooperate within the framework of the ACP academic project funded by the European Union.
