Introduction to Spiritan University College:
History and Establishment
Establishment: 1990.
History: The school was originally a philosophy college, specializing in the first stage of priest and missionary training for candidates of the Congregation of the Holy Spirit. In 1997, the initial two-year course was expanded to a three-year course leading to a diploma in philosophy and religious studies. In 2002, the school owners decided to improve the academic level. On September 25, 2005, the college was accredited by the National Accreditation Board of Ghana. On June 20, 2008, the college was awarded the status of a university college. In September 2011, the college opened a business school.
