Introduction
Odesa National University I.I. Mechnikov is one of the oldest and most prestigious universities in Ukraine. It is named after the Nobel Prize winner and famous biologist Elie Elie Mechnikov. It is a classical higher education institution with European traditions and has trained many professionals in major fields such as natural sciences and humanities.

Odessa National University I.I. Mechnikov was founded in 1865. Founded in 1939, the university was formerly known as the New Russian University in the Imperial Russian era.
