Introduction

Pryazovskyi State Technical University is a well-known university in Mariupol, Ukraine. It is one of the oldest educational institutions in the Donetsk region. History and establishment time

The university was founded in November 1930, initially as a vocational training school for workers at the Ilyich Steel Plant. In 1933, it became the Mariupol Metallurgical Institute. From 1948 to 1989, it was the Zhdanov Metallurgical Institute, and from 1989 to 1993 it was renamed the Mariupol Metallurgical Institute. In 1993, the school was granted university status by Resolution No. 956 and was renamed Pryazovskyi State Technical University. Since 2009, its official name is "Pryazovskyi State Technical University" Higher Education Institution.

Campus Facilities: The campus consists of 12 buildings, including university administrative offices, teaching buildings, dormitories and canteens. Among them, Building 1 was built in 1910 and designed by architect Victor Nelson. It was originally a church school. Buildings 1, 2, 3, 5 and 9 form a closed square campus located in the historical area of ​​the city, at the intersection of Grecheskaya Street and University Street. Dormitories and canteens are located on Apatova Street.
