Introduction
Mykolaiv National Agrarian University is a leading educational and scientific research institution of higher education in southern Ukraine. History and establishment time
The university was established in 1984 as a branch of Odessa Agricultural College in Nikolayev to meet the large demand for agricultural production professionals such as agronomists, animal engineers and economists at that time. In 1991, the university became an independent institution from Odessa Agricultural College, with a student population of 2,232 and 126 teachers. In 1997, the school received the highest IV level certification from the Ukrainian National Accreditation Committee, and in 1999 it obtained the status of a college. On August 19, 2002, the Mykolaiv National Agricultural University was established on this basis according to the resolution of the Ukrainian Cabinet of Ministers. On September 21, 2012, the school was awarded the status of a national university by the President of Ukraine.
