Introduction and Overview
Svishtov Academy of Economics is a long-established and influential higher education institution in Bulgaria, focusing on teaching and research in the fields of economics, business management, etc., and offering undergraduate, master and doctoral degree programs.
History and Establishment
The school was founded in 1936 and was established by the famous entrepreneur Dimitar Tsenov, whose donation amount ranks second among the donations established by Bulgarian higher education institutions.
School Strength
Faculty: It has more than 180 professors, associate professors, assistant professors and lecturers, teaching more than 6,000 Bulgarian and foreign students every year.
Accreditation and Honors: It is a Bulgarian state-accredited higher education institution, approved by Lloyd's Register Quality Assurance Agency in accordance with ISO quality management standards, and also has an Erasmus + charter. In November 2017, it was declared the best Erasmus + partner in Bulgaria and was awarded the quality mark for the successful implementation of the Erasmus + project.
